DOC — MECHANICS

How it works

Two layers, one verdict. Both are engineered around the same principle: evidence you can check, not scores you have to trust.

AOn-chain forensics — live

The scan pipeline

01

You paste a contract address

From the site, the API, or straight from a chat with the AI Agent. No wallet connection, no sign-up.

02

The chain answers

SentryHood reads public mainnet records through the official explorer: bytecode, verified source, creation transaction, and the deployer's full history.

03

Forensics assemble

Source audit, launch origin, serial-deployment checks, funding trace, holder concentration — each check produces a labeled finding with a weight, not a hidden score.

04

One readable verdict

Findings sum into a 0–100 risk score with a plain-language verdict. Every point of that score is something you can inspect and verify yourself.

BTrust Feed Machinery

When an account gets compromised, minutes matter

The 2023 Robinhood X takeover and the 2026 executive-account incidents followed the same script: hijack, post a token, harvest. SentryHood compresses the gap between the post and your warning.

01 · Attacker

Hijacks a verified project account

02 · Account

Posts a new token + link

03 · Monitor

Pattern break → status: under review

04 · Curators

Rapid confirm → status: compromised

05 · You

Alert lands before you buy

Target: detection → curator confirmation → subscriber alert in minutes

Verified Directory

A curated registry of official project, team and infrastructure accounts on X — the baseline the monitor watches.

Anomaly detection

Posting-pattern breaks trigger an under-review state: sudden contract promotion, new links, tone shifts, deleted history.

Curator confirmation

Staked curators review flagged accounts fast. Accurate calls earn from the reward pool; wrong calls get slashed.

Real-time alerts

Confirmed compromises push to Telegram, Discord and web within minutes — before the malicious post finishes circulating.

CStraight answers

Feasibility, without the varnish

Is the on-chain part real?

Fully. Deployer identity, creation transactions, prior deployments, funding flows and holder balances are all public records. The scanner live on this site already uses them — no stubs, no fixtures.

What about the X / social side?

Feasible but not free. X API search and streaming are paid, rate-limited products. We plan for them as infrastructure, and complement them with crowdsourced community reports so coverage never depends on a single paid pipe.

Will history be complete on day one?

The promoter database builds from the day monitoring starts and compounds in value every day after. Accounts watched from genesis have complete trails; the long tail fills in over time.

Why not just another contract scanner?

That category is saturated — lookalike scanners with zero defensible data assets. The empty seat is the social layer: who is behind the contract and who is selling it to you. That is where SentryHood competes.
